Undokai 2008

Last weekend was my daughter’s school’s annual undokai – sports day. Her school falls into, what is loosely translated as, an elevator school. This means that once you gained admittance, you may continue in that school up to its highest level. Yuzu and Ponzu

Yuzu is a citrus fruit indigenous to Japan. It is about the size of a medium sized orange, but its skin has a slight yellowish hue. The fruit is pale cream in color.
