Dads, monkeys and penguins

Posted by on March 11, 2009

Back in January Scott brought his family to Japan for a visit.  If you didn’t get a chance, you can read about our excursion through Akihabara.  Despite the fact we have lived less than ten minutes away from the Ueno Zoo for five years, this visit was Pam’s first.  Sachan and Emily had a great time, but what’s not to love when you  get a view like this:

And who is the biggest monkey?

Everyone loves the penguins

One of my favorite things about Ueno Zoo is their recycling program.

I have always thought that it is great that you can bring your used, tired or dead pets to the zoo and “recycle” them.  Coincidence that this is next to the lion and tiger areas?  Oh I think not!

“Meesah Weet- Why that man look so grumpy? He gotta go potdee?”
