Yesterday morning, when I got up, I saw granddaddy in the kitchen. Granddaddy wanted some water. He was about to drink the Pocari Sweat because he didn’t know that it wasn’t water. I told him that it was a little sweeter than water. Then granddaddy said, “Thank you!” and put the Pocari Sweat back.
Then he poured real water in his cup. As granddaddy started drinking the water, it kept spilling out of his cup. It was because there was a crack in the bottom.
Latter, when we were about to eat supper, grandma was about to pour Pocari Sweat into granddaddy’s cup. I told her that it wasn’t water. Then grandma said, “Thank you!” and put the Pocari Sweat back.
(Editors note: Pocari Sweat is the Japanese equivalent of Gatorade; it does not however come in a rainbow of colors. You can read more about Pocari Sweat on this old tale: Brian’s Virtual Bar.)

I like reading what you and Grandma and Granddaddy are doing. It sounds like you are having fun but both of them are slow to learn that Pocari Sweat is not water. Ha. I tried skyping you but no success. Have a good day. Anxious to hear about the piano recital. Tell everyone hello. Becky
