Here's a couple of warnings to accompany your reading:

"Warning: Nose may be broken suddenly if head tilts into book and tome snaps shut upon reader's dozing."

"Warning: Brains may spill out ears due to a loud "BLAH BLAH BLAH droning in ears."

"Warning:Eyes may permanently lose secretion ability after propping eyelids open with toothpicks for 10 or more hours in attempt to finish reading most current, riveting research."

Little late on commenting since didn't come back to NC till late Sat., Sept. 26
Sounds like exciting reading you are doing -
As for the "swine flu" - I'm not a nurse like Becky but am tired of hearing about it. Think it's just one more thing the govt. likes to scare us with to take our minds off the other antics they are pulling. God help us all!

Schools and individual grades within schools are closing like mad here. Was an article in the paper today about how many schools are sadly canceling their annual school sports days, which is traditionally held in the middle of October on the national Sports Day holiday. The one school I work at has shut down their seventh grade this week. What cracks me up here is that no one refers to it as just the flue. It always "THE influenza." Even in Japanese, its "ZAH Buhta Infulooenzu, " literally "The PIG Influenza." Did you read about Egypt? they killed all the pigs in and around Cairo out of pure fear of THE INFLUENZA! And that was without a single confirmed case. The problem? The trash collectors there regularly feed all of the biodegradable trash to the pigs. So what is happening? The trash is piling up. Maybe they can kill all of the H20 molecules when cholera breaks out. And hey, while we are talking about world leaders making decisions, how about Japan's new PM, Yukio Hatoyama, taking the lead on curbing green house gases? Let's here it for the DPJ and bi-party politics in Japan! Not too loudly though, Japanese industries in a floundering economy and Leo Gerard might find out.

Sorry you are having to work again.I'm glad I don't have all that reading to do-all I've read lately and answered has been related to the swine flu. I think if one more person asks me about when we are going to give it, I'm going to scream loud enough that you will hear me in Japan. Becky
