I don’t know what your summer camp experiences were like as a kid. I know that the week I was away from my parents every summer was the greatest week of my life every year. And if that sounds mean, well, that only means you never asked my parents what their greatest week of the year was when I was a kid!!
For the record, the closest I ever came to having this kind of experience was having a tug of war over the horse pasture pond…now that is a tug of war you DO NOT want to lose. Anyway, here are clips of Sachan’s canyoning trip during her summer camp up in Kazuno. I hope to have video clips of her white water rafting later this week.
The water activity looked like fun, but was she ever afraid to do what they asked her to do. I realize that they were carefully looked after. What a great experience.
